COMMUNITY PARTNERS
There are many groups in Hopkinton working together to achieve the same goals. You can find contact information for each group or you can contact me if your not sure where to find the answers you need. Together we can accomplish anything !
FREE RESOURCES
These services are designed to improve and protect the health of the individual and the population.
SHARPS DISPOSAL
Needles and lancets can be disposed of at the Hopkinton Police Department for free. The sharps should be in a puncture proof container and should be placed inside of the Steri-cycle bin located in the lobby.
UNUSED MEDICATION DROP OFF
Prevent access to prescription drugs by disposing of unused or expired medications properly. Prescription medication should never be flushed down the toilet, poured down the sink or thrown in the garbage. Instead, these medications can be placed in the unused medication bin located in the Hopkinton Police Department lobby.
HOARDING
We have partnered with ClearPath program to offer services to those struggling with excess clutter. It is our goal to ensure that the home environment is safe for the resident. In addition to in-home assessments, there are also peer lead support groups available.
NARCAN KIT
In response to the national opioid crisis, we have decided to offer free naloxone at the health department. The kit will include narcan, a medication used to treat a narcotic overdose in an emergency as well as a user guide.
