Community COVID-19 Testing
Updated: Jun 15
The Hopkinton Health Department has partnered with AFC Urgent Care in Marlborough to bring COVID-19 testing to the town of Hopkinton. This is an opportunity to better serve our community by providing testing in a Drive-thru format close to home. Antibody testing and COVID-19 (PCR) testing will both be available onsite. Residents and any employee that works in the town of Hopkinton may be tested if they meet testing criteria.
Any individual with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 including fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, chills, fatigue, headache, muscles aches or body aches, congestion or runny nose, nausea/vomiting or diarrhea can be tested
Any essential employee without symptoms may be tested
Any close contact of a confirmed COVID-19 individual may be tested
In order to be tested you must complete and submit this form :
Community Testing Protocol:
Every patient will need to complete the COVID-19 Testing Registration and Consent form and email to Marlboro@afcurgentcaremarlboro.com along with a copy of their insurance card. Registration must be completed by June 17, 2020.
Once registration and consent form are processed, AFC Urgent Care will contact the patient to register and schedule for a TeleHealth session.
TeleHealth visits will be scheduled for June 15, 16, 17. After you have completed the TeleHealth session, the provider will give you a letter or test pass for the Drive-thru.
The Drive-thru event will take place on June 18, 2020 from 8:00 am to 3:00 and will be by appointment only. The provider will arrange for your Drive-thru appointment at this time.
Arrive to the Drive thru Testing event on June 18, 2020 at your appointment time. It is important to note that you must bring a valid picture ID and your test pass from AFC Urgent Care in order to be tested. There will be signs and staff to direct movement through the testing event. If you are only having COVID-19 (PCR) testing completed then expect that it may take 10-15 minutes. You will not need to get out of your car for any reason. If you are having Antibody testing completed then expect that it may take slightly longer, as you will be required to park and get out of your car and go to the antibody testing tent.
